Teachers are the worlds best influencers:
Each of our own curiosities are brought about by something taught to us that has truly grabbed our attention-rattled our brain a bit. But how do we invoke that curiosity in others? How do we create life long learners? The type that go on to drive lasting change in our communities and the lives of others? We each have to find what we are passionate about.
Explore our interests.
Find what makes us tick, and exploit that fascination-that passion.
Anna Eckhoff, owner and operator and Collaboratory aims to do just that in the heart of downtown Papillion, where curious kids and adults come to ignite creativity and explore new adventures in STEAM through hands-on, inquiry-based workshops. The Collaboratory believes that Imagination is a catalyst for every unique human discovery, but it can’t be taught! At Collaboratory, she creates an environment where curiosity, imagination, and creativity flourish, believing strongly in their responsibility to help provide accessible opportunities for ALL learners to be inspired and discover their element. But I won’t spoil it all, Anna can speak for herself, and quite well at that. Anna also helps organize TED xOmaha talks, as well as spent her professional career in public education. If her story doesn’t inspire you, her obvious passion certainly will.
